Tanjore is a great place to pick up the traditional Tanjore dolls, with their bobbing heads—the area around the Punainallur Mariamman Temple has many small shops. Stock up on authentic Tanjore paintings embellished with semi-precious stones and gold foil. Another thing to pick up is bronze statues of gods and goddesses.
Coffee Plantations on Ananthagiri Hills are a must visit. Miles and miles of coffee plantations await you in the mesmerizing hills of Ananthagiri, which begin as soon as you enter the Araku Valley. The smell of coffee leaves is spread through the entire valley rejuvenating your senses. The plantations are deeply rooted in the history of the tribes of the Araku Valley.
Located 65 Km from Araku Valley, Kunduli is home to the Paraj, Rana and Maja tribes. Kunduli organizing a very interesting market where trading can be seen in a large scale. The tribes are seen selling bangles, drums, homemade alcohol, cattle, goats and tribal jewelry here. The market commences on each Friday here and is visited by several tribes from neighbouring villages also.
Less than 100 km away from Bhuj, this sanctuary is spread over an area of about 7505.22 sq. km. in the Kutch District of Gujarat. This wildlife sanctuary is considered as one of the largest seasonal saline wetland areas.
A walk through the125 years old, the Kolkata Flower Market is eastern India’s largest flower market with hundreds of stalls and many more sitting on the ground will leave you spell bound.

Abhaneri Stepwell is an architectural marvel and called by BBC as "one of the 10 great unknown wonders of the world". To overcome the perpetual issue of water scarcity during summer months, inhabitants of northern India began constructing unique step wells in the 6th century CE to collect this precious resource.
Adalaj Stepwell is a magnificent structure built brilliantly to curb water crisis in and around Adalaj Village. The stepwell is located 19 Km to the North of Ahmedabad. It was built in 1498 and is one of the many step wells built in India to provide access to groundwater.
A few blocks back from the beach, the candy-striped 1862 lighthouse contains a small museum with an original oil lamp, but is best visited for the 360-degree views of a surprisingly green Alleppey from the top of its spiralling staircase.
