Detailed Itinerary

  1. Day 1 Arrive Manali

    On arrival our representative will meet you and escort you to your hotel. On your way, stopover and look at the temples at Mandi on the banks of the beautiful river, Beas. On arrival, check into the hotel.

    Later, in the afternoon, proceed to visit Hidimbi Devi Temple also known as the Dhungri Temple. It is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hidimbi Devi. Located in the middle of dense forest Called Dhungri Van Vihar and from the name of the forest only the temple drives its name.

  2. Day 2 Manali

    Today after breakfast, proceed to visit Jogini or Jogni Falls waterfall situated near Vashisht Village. The fall is formed by a stream which is merged in to Beas River in the downstream. The waterfall can be reached by trekking from Vashisht Temple. The waterfall cascades down from a height of around 150 feet through multiple levels. There is a small pool at the base formed by the fall and visitors can take a plunge in the water and spend some time.

    Later, visit The Van Vihar Park which is beautifully adorned by deodar trees and is a perfect place to spend memorable time with loved ones. One can visit the park to relax and get the fresh breeze of the Deodar trees.

    The main attraction of the park is the beautiful man-made lake situated in the middle of the woods.

    If time permits you can visit the local market in the evening.

  3. Day 3 Manali To Kaza By Road: 190 Kms/ 4 Hour Drive (Atal Tunnel)

    After breakfast, we start our journey to the valley of the Gods – Lahaul & Spiti! Crossover to Lahaul by passing through the adventure haven – The Rohtang Pass, and watch the terrain shift from lush green valleys to brown arid deserts. At 14,931 ft we cross another high altitude pass & the gateway to the Spiti Valley – Kunzum La. We continue our drive through the stunning landscape to reach Kaza by evening. it will be challenging drive till Kaza high altitude of Spiti Valley provides different challenges. You will be driving on the world’s most treacherous road today.

    On arrival, check into the hotel.

  4. Day 4 Kaza - Key Monastery - Kibber - Pin Valley - Kaza

    After breakfast, visit the Key Monastery is a world famous center for learning and is an obvious choice for those seeking peace and calm. Declared a national park in 1987, Pin Valley has altitudes ranging from 11,000 to 20,000 feet and is home to at least 12 endangered snow leopards.

    In addition, other animals indigenous to the region and park are the Siberian Ibex, Bharal, Weasel, Red Fox, and Marten. Birds such as the Pika, Griffon, Golden Eagle, Bearded Vulture, Chukor, and Raven can be spotted flocking to the skies of the picturesque valley. We first visit the Kungri Monastery and then the beautiful hamlet of Mud – the last motor able village of the Pin Valley.

  5. Day 5 Kaza - Hikkim - Komic - Langza – Kaza

    After breakfast Visit some of the highest inhabited regions of the world. The highest village in Asia – Komic, situated at a height of 4513 m, has a population of 84 people and is cut off from rest of the world for most parts of the year. Later, we drive to Hikkim, where we have a chance to send postcards from the world’s highest post office! At Langza, walk back to the prehistoric era when Spiti was submerged by the Tethys Sea, as you explore a land very rich with fossils of Marine animals and plants which were here millions of years ago.

  6. Day 6 Kaza - Chandra Taal Lake - Jispa

    After breakfast we drive back to Jispa / Keylong visit – Chandra Taal Lake. The mystical and beautiful Chandra Taal Lake or the Moon Lake is located at a height of 14,000 feet.The Chandra Bhaga mountain range forms a striking backdrop for the lake, which changes appearance according to the pictures painted in the sky. Arrive at Jispa / Keylong.

  7. Day 7 Day Excursion To Baralacha

    After breakfast day excursion to baralacha, A high mountain pass in Zanskar region, Baralacha La means the pass where many roads meet. The pass connects Lahaul in Himachal Pradesh to Ladakh, The Baralacha La is better described as a plateau where three mountain ranges meet (Pir Panjal, Zanskar and the Himalayas). The Baralacha La towers over three valleys that meet at a height of over 16,000 ft. The Baralacha Pass forms a natural divide between the Bhaga and Yunam River. The Bhaga River is a tributary of Chenab River which is also known as the Chandrabhaga River. The tributary originates from the Suraj Tal, a few kilometers from Baralacha Pass. The Chandra River which meets the Bhaga River at Tondi to form the Chandrabhaga, originates from a glacier in the Baralacha La region. Baralacha is the starting point for several treks. The trek to Suraj Tal is a popular. When the snow melts and the road is open for travel, the peculiar shaped snow hiding between cliffs is a sight to watch. As you reach the Baralacha La, you come across the cool blue waters of the Suraj Tal that is usually marked by an outline of snow at its banks. There is a sharp contrast to the surrounding gray and off white coloured rocks that are scattered around the road and the lake. As you cross the Suraj Tal, the snowcapped summit comes into view and you reach the summit after you make your way up the last 250 ft up the mountain to reach the Baralacha La. Back to Jispa.
