  1. Day 1 Delhi -Corbett by road (Approx. 240 kms / 5.5 hours’ drive)

    Jim Corbett National Park, which is a part of the larger Corbett Tiger Reserve, a Project Tiger Reserve lies in Nainital district of Uttarakhand. The magical landscape of Corbett is well known and fabled for its tiger richness. Established in the year 1936 as Hailey National Park, Corbett has the glory of being India's oldest and most prestigious National Park. It is also being honoured as the place where Project Tiger was first launched in 1973. Spans over an extent of 520 square kilometres, its whole area comprises of hills, marshy depressions, riverine belts, grasslands and large lake. Corbett and its adjoining area is a home to more than 650 species of residents and migratory birds. Particularly Dhikala is fine place to look for birds of prey, more than over 50 species of raptors alone shows the healthy biodiversity of the area. Their multiplex behaviour is intriguing and their varied songs are very much pleasing to the ear. In a nutshell, this finest national park of India is well known for rich and varied wildlife including royal Bengal tiger, elephant, four to five species of deer and rich birdlife. It remains open from the mid of November to the mid of June month.

    Corbett National Park Located in the foothills of the Himalayas is the majestic Corbett National Park. Home to a variety of flora and fauna, it is famous for its wild population of Tigers, Leopards and Elephants.

  3. Day 3 Corbett – Binsar by road (Approx. 152 kms / 5 hours’ drive)

    After breakfast, drive to Binsar.

    On arrival, check-in to the hotel.

  4. Day 4 Binsar

    After breakfast, explore the Binsar wildlife sanctuary. Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary is a paradise for the nature lovers and explorers. Nestled amidst the high mountains of the beautiful Kumaon, it is known for the rarest of the species of animals, birds, butterflies and exotic flora established in 1988 mainly to protect the broad-leaved oak trees of Himalayas. It has now become a haven for more than 200 species of birds and almost half as many plants and animals. The best part about Binsar is that every experience is real and as authentic as it gets.

    In the premises of the wildlife sanctuary is the zero point from which one can look across 300 km of lush green forest giving a treat to your eyes. One can see the panoramic view of Himalayan peaks like Kedarnath Peak and Nanda Devi from Zero point.

  5. Day 5 Binsar

    After breakfast, visit Bineshwar temple, Bineshwar Mahadev is a 16th century A.D temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. This ancient temple was built during the reign of Raja Kalyan Chand of the famous Chand Dynasty. Interestingly, the toy town of Binsar which used to be the summer capital of Chand Dynasty was named after this temple.

    Rest of the day at lesiure to explore the picturesque surroundings on foot. Panoramic vistas of the snow-capped Himalayas are visible from Binsar. You can see the peaks of Nanda Devi, Kedarnath, Chaukhamba, Trishul, Panchchuli and Nanda Kot.

    After breakfast, enjoy boating at Naini Lake. Nestled amidst the township of Nainital, Naini Lake is a beautiful natural fresh body lake. The lake is in crescent or kidney shape and is one of the famous lakes of the Kumaon region. Bounded by Naini Peak on North West, Tiffin Point on the South West and snow-capped peaks on the north, the lake offers a breath-taking view, especially during the early morning and sunset. Coniferous trees that cover the hillside add charm to the raw beauty of the place.

    Then visit Naina Devi Temple. The temple was built in the 15 A.D. while the idol of Naina Devi was installed in the temple in 1842 by a devotee of the goddess named Moti Ram Shah. Regarded and revered as one of the fifty-one Shakti Peeths that are located all across India, Naina Devi Temple is a holy site that is situated on the northern shore of Naini Lake, in Nainital district of Uttarakhand, India. This temple is one of the most renowned places of Hindu worship all over the country dedicated to Devi Sati's eyes, devotees from all parts of India flock to this region in huge numbers all year round.
