Introduction
Far Horizon welcomes you to a specially designed tour of India’s national parks and wildlife sanctuaries. With its huge and varied landmass and vegetation, India is home to a large variety of wildlife with some of the finest game parks and tiger reserves. India has about four hundred species of mammals and 1300 species of birds. It is the only country to have the Asiatic Lion and is home to about 65% of the world’s tigers and 85% of the world’s Asian one horned Rhinos. We have specially designed this tour to include national parks and wildlife sanctuaries as well as places rich in history.

Delhi
The City of GloryDelhi is said to be one of the oldest existing cities in the world, along with Jerusalem and Varanasi. It is the Capital Territory of India and a modern-day citadel that's dotted with ancient monuments.
History and Culture
Legend estimates it to be over 5,000 years old. Over the millennia, Delhi is said to have been built and destroyed 11 times. The oldest alleged incarnation of the city shows up in the Indian mythological epic Mahabharata as Indraprastha.
Shimla
Queen of the HillsSituated at a height of 2200m, Shimla is the capital and the largest city of Himachal Pradesh in India. Set amidst beautiful hills and mystical woods, Shimla has been a very popular hill-station among Indian families and honeymooners since the last 50 years.
Bhopal
City with Vibrant HistoryBhopal is the capital of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is a good mix of the old and the new with a lot of old portions of Bhopal reminiscent of the Mughal influence and the new showcasing the planned development of a modern Indian city.
Jabalpur
The Land of Glittering Marble RocksJabalpur, located on the shores of river Narmada, is an industrial city in Madhya Pradesh picking up as a tourist destination because of its splendid ghats, waterfalls and a mild glitter of historical and cultural structures.
Bandhavgarh
The land of TigersBandhavgarh National Park is located in Madhya Pradesh state of India. This park is among the best national parks of India where Asian tigers can be easily viewed. Area of this park is of around 448 sq km. Bandhavgarh Hill, at the height of 811 meters above sea level, is located at the center of the park. This hill is surrounded by sloping valleys. More than 28 species of mammals and 250 species of birds & 70 species of butterflies are found in Bandhavgarh National Park. Common Langurs and Rhesus Macaque represent the primate group.
Kanha National Park
The land of Jungle BookA delightful town situated in the district of Mandla, Kanha National park is the haven of an exceptionally wide variety of wild animals, including the majestic creature tiger. Wide open grass plains with a backdrop of the city scrapers, scattered bamboo forests play host to a wide variety of wildlife and diverse bird-life with over 300 species recorded.
Mumbai
The City of DreamsIndia’s largest port, its commercial and industrial center, as well as fashion capital and heart of Bollywood (India’s thriving movie industry), Mumbai is an endlessly fascinating hive of activity. A jumble of captivating contradictions, grand colonial architecture rubs shoulders with chaotic bazaars, trendy restaurants, exclusive boutiques, slums and shanty towns, all interspersed with beautiful, tropical palm trees. A shopper’s haven, this bustling cosmopolitan metropolis offers anything from pavement stalls and ancient markets to glitzy malls and designer outlets.
