GondalIt is similar to Delhi’s “ Khadi Gram Udyog bhandar” where guests can buy Khadi products like unstitched fabrics, home decoration pieces, soaps etc.
The main attraction is that one can see thread looms where women were involved in making of thread which is later used in making of Khadi cloth.
Naulakha Palace
GondalThe Naulakha Palace, dating back to the 18th century (1748), with a "sculpted facade “ is a part of the Darbargadh fort complex. It is named "Navalakaha" meaning rupees "nine lakhs," which was the cost of building it at that time.
SwamiNarayan Temple
GondalThe Akshar Deri is a major site of pilgrimage in Swaminarayan Hinduism and is located in the rang mandap of the BAPS Swaminarayan temple in Gondal, India. The structure marks the cremation site and serves as a memorial to Gunatitanand Swami. The temple is very beautiful with deities and paintings inside the inner sanctum.
